Activity: The Case of the Dirty Fridge

Do you like mysteries? Are you a fan of CSI? Ever dream of solving your own case?
Become a Forensic Scientist and solve the The Case of the Dirty Refrigerator.
Decipher which meal gave Mary and Jake Salmonella poisoning, which food carried the contamination, and what Salmonella strain is responsible for their illness.
For teachers, this is a good introduction to forensic genomics, can be used in grade 9 and upwards.

Information Monday: Genomics & Health

Genomics…as a topic of conversation, it’s not often top of mind for most. Unlike the weather…or H1N1…or other matters of health. We care about our health. We like to talk about our health. Health is interesting.
But did you know…genomics and health are intimately intertwined.
